Homeless Heroes Day 2021

Please join us for our fourth annual Homeless Heroes Day event on November 19th, 2021. HHD is The Backpack Project, Inc.'s major fundraising event, where teams of Atlanta area employees volunteer together to pack and hand-distribute our backpacks to people experiencing homelessness in Atlanta. The event focuses primarily on the experience of homelessness among US Armed Forces veterans. Shelters serving homeless youth and homeless families will also receive backpacks. Since TBP was unable to host HHD in 2020, our team is striving to come back strong, aiming to make this year's fundraiser as "the best one yet." We hope you and your team will enjoy this wondeful tradition of hands-on philantrophy and learning.
